Pulev had a lot of heart, but he was eventually separated from his senses.

Even he did get on the inside, what is that going to do? Jennings hit Wlad with 100+ body shots and hit had very little effect on Wlad.

I doubt that Holy gets in that often anyways. He would have to go through a hail storm of punches and Wlad has devastating power.

Holyfield was like 5 years overdue when he fought Lewis and still managed to put up a close fight in their second encounter.

Neither man should be completely written off but I think the Holyfield that beat Douglas for the title would stop any version of Wlad.

Did you see the Douglas that showed up vs Holyfield? A stone heavier and sluggish as hell, did he even train? Looked a bum.

I don't think Douglas was some great win. I just think that was his best night. He was young, hungry and ready.

I think you're confusing the Tokyo Douglas with the Vegas one Holyfield took on. Two different fighters.

Yes, Douglas was in horrible shape for that fight. I know. I just think that Holyfield brought his A-game that night, and I don't think he was ever in better shape both physically or mentally. Except for maybe Bowe II.

When has Wlad ever faced an opponent like that of a prime Holyfield?

    Holyfield TKO.

In terms of a style match up this favours Wlad. Holyfield has always struggled with big super heavies due to being a natural cruiser. Wlad will not look to engage, he'll keep it long and look to smother Evander on the inside. Wlad will adopt a similar strategy as Lewis in their first fight where Lewis dominated Holyfield behind his jab.

Lewis in the 2nd Holyfield fight was more aggressive and that made it an easier fight for Holyfield, but in the rounds Lewis got behind his jab he once again controlled Evander like in the first fight. Wlad isn't going to make the mistake of trying to force the KO like Lewis did, he will look to fight a boring fight and simply look for the win, he doesn't care if he impresses or not and this makes it a harder fight for Holyfield against an opponent who isn't going to engage like Bowe or Lewis in the 2nd fight.

But of course prime Evander is not push over. He will be quicker to pull the trigger and will have an advantage in hand speed so he will clearly have moments when he can get off first. I do think he can make in rough for Wlad, especially late in the fight where Wlad has gassed before. But I don't think Holyfield has the one punch power to KO Wlad with one shot. He needs to put a sustained beat down to stop him and I don't think Wlad with his spoiling tactics will allow that to happen.

Holyfield will make it dirty with his head which will work to some degree to allow him to work inside but the size and strength advantage Wlad will have on the inside will be too much and allow Wlad to win the fight on points.

I rate Holyfield above Wlad but in terms of a mesh of styles this favours Wlad.

Would have been a great, great fight. Prime Holyfield definitely beats Lennox Lewis IMO and probably also beats Wlad Klitschko, although Klitschko might be able to pull it out.

Prime Holyfield can match up with any heavyweight in any era. I actually would love to see Prime Holyfield against Vitali Klitschko. That would be an even better fight than Prime Holyfield vs Wlad.

Holyfield won't be able to outbox Wlad, so he will try to brawl him. Wlad will jab n grab and stink out the joint on the way to a wide UD. Holy doesn't have the power to blast Wlad out of there and Wlad has the size to control him.

Holyfield man handled Mike Tyson around the ring like a rag doll. Wlad couldn't over power Sam Peter on the inside and had to run for his life.

Holyfield rips Wald apart in close. ATG inside fighter vs Worst inside fighter ever. Its ridiculous to assume otherwise, unless you believe Wlad can win every fantasy fight by doing what he did to Povetkin .

You saw what happened against Brewster when he wasn't allowed clinch. He got beaten with left hooks. Holy had one of the best ever.

Did you see prime Holyfield vs journeyman Bert Cooper, Dino? Anyway, take away his roids while you're at it.

You think Wlad could take the shots Cooper took:nut

Cooper gave Holyfield trouble only because of the amount of leather he was able to adsorb.

Wlad can't take a clean shot and continue boxing like Cooper.
