Prime Hopkins best wins were against naturally smaller men at Middle.

I personally feel that Bernard would fight GGG like he did againsy JC and try and steal the fight.

God if onlY GGG was a black American , he would be like the next Mike Tyson...

I'm not disagreeing that I'd have to assume based on resume that Ward would win, but as you point out Golovkin hasn't been in the ring with anyone close so how do we know just what his potential is? If you're basing it on the eye test, well, anyone can do that.

Golovkins kinda in the position Ward was before the super 6 (but a lot older of course) - a coupla reasonable names on his resume but very few believed then that he had much of a chance of emerging as the worlds premier smw.

Just cos Andre Ward has proven to be very good doesn't automatically imply that Golovkin couldn't be better.

A prime supermiddleweight would beat a middleweight? Since when is this something to brag about?

And BTW: Golovkin is already *32* years old. He ain't gonna get any better than he is right now - and *right now* - Ward _beats the brakes off of him_...

He doesn't need to get any better, as he stands, Ward would be very vulnerable to getting knocked out by GGG, And he would have a very hard time looking good in a points win because Golovkin looks good in every fight.

GGG has devasting power and Andre Doesn't.

GGG lands more often, and more accurately - fact.

GGG gets hit less, and has never been hurt (Andre has been hurt bad).

GGG hurts people as they try to clench, and during the Clench.

The only advantage Ward has is speed, and the ability to head butt.

golovkin has shown that he can be outboxed. he's also showed flaws that none of the guys he's faced yet have the skills to exploit. ward has those skills.

As I pointed out in my post, GGG has had a late start, and likely Ward does beat him.

What I was saying is that your opinion above is simply that - an opinion. Resumes don't climb into the ring. Let's see what happens when they fight.

Again. Refer above. Ward might well have the skills to outbox Golovkin but until it's proven in the ring it remains an opinion.

Might as well say - 'Ward has proven that he can be knocked down'. If boxing were a sport of certainties, would any of us get so excited by it? If you're so sure that a Ward - Golovkin fight would be a foregone conclusion, why would you even be interested in it?

I'm very much looking forward to a Ward - Golovkin fight, but I'm not expecting it any time soon.

Golovkin looking good has a LOT to do with the caliber of his opposition. It's easy to look like the reincarnation of Mike Tyson when all you do is beat up on recycled TOMATO CANs.

FACT: Ward's resume absolutely SHITS all over Golovkin's. Call me when Triple Duck fights someone with a pulse.

Of course it's not happening soon. Triple Duck's handlers aren't that stupid. Ward ends the GGG hype in brutal fashion and Golovkin's people KNOW this. Why do you think HBO is stonewalling the fight?

ggg's" mexican style" is best suited for a weak division like MW.
