Prime: Jim Jefferies .vs. Jack Johnson

I just can't picture any version of Jeffries beating Johnson. Sure, he'd be in better condition, with better physical attributes than when they fought, but how is that overcoming Johnson's enormous stylistic advantage here? Jeffries wasn't some relentless stalker and swarmer. He was more like a slow stalker/counterpuncher type. How is he winning a fight coming in very slowly, while maintaining some distance, in a crouching/leaning stance against Johnson? You're not winning a counter-punching fight against Johnson while imposing minimal pressure. Just can't see how that works out for him.

The first Johnson v Griffin fight was close many believed Johnson worthy of a draw.

McCormick continually fouled Johnson by kneeing him in the 7th and 8th rounds when things went against him he resorted to fouling as he had in their last fight, being dsq'd.Their third fight ,to which I am referring, went 10 rounds so WTF you are talking about God only knows!

BTW. McCormick had over 25 fights under his belt when he first faced Johnson.Among those he had fought were----
