Prime Lewis v39 years old 2 years retired 172lbs Fitzsimmons? Prime Lewis v33 years old 1.5 years retired188lbs Corbett? Prime Lewis v 36 years old, 3 years retired 183lbs Corbett? Prime Lewis v185lbs prime Sharkey? How do these fights play out? To protect Janitor's sensibilities we will make them 20 rounders with small gloves and a lenient referee.[God help Sharkey if he starts fouling].
Would you please protect Janitor's sensibilities a bit further please? If you are trying to make the point that I think you are, then it can't be a prime Lewis in there, except perhaps for the second Corbett fight. Lewis turns professional with a handful of professional fights, and takes each fight an equal number into his professional career. Unless of course this thread is not intended to denigrate Jeffries accomplishments, in which case as you were!
Well prime Lewis obliterates them as he was I suppose. Without steroids and any sense of an amateur career? Idk probably still pick Lewis.
It would be more fair to match them against someone much closer to their own size, like Canelo or Callum Smith. Would any of those guys beat Dmitry Bivol?
I know. Kind of like how George Mikan led the NBA in scoring and won an MVP over the Kevin Durants and Giannis Anteokounpos of his day.
Forgive me, that is a foreign language to me! Since this thread has been started, I think that there should be some sort of scientific comparison, between the early circumstances of Jeffries and Lewis! I suspect that this will be very telling!
Was Jeffries in his prime in those fights JEFFRIES was one week off of 25 years old when he fought Corbett the first time. He was 28 years old in the 2nd. He was 24 for the 2nd Sharkey fight. 27 for the 2nd Fitzsimmons fight. I'm not denigrating Jeffries,I'm punching a ****ing great hole through your absurd strategies
