Lewis vs usyk is much more worthy of debate

 

I think people here are really underestimating Wlad, he had insane power and a much better jab, right straight and left hook then Lewis while Lewis was better on the inside. If Wlad can keep Lewis on the outside and pepper him with his jabs and straights he can def win especially since he had insane power (bigger then Lewis's imo) and Lewis doesn't have the best chin (neither fighter does as we know) the question is can Lewis force a fight on the inside or will Wlad be able to nullify him with the clinch and then pick him apart on the outside. If Wlad can keep the fight on the outside he wins. If Lewis is able to get on the inside and work then he wins that's how I see it.

 

Yes, Wlad would keep LL on the outside just like he kept Sugar Samuel Peters on the outside.

 

Wladimir was 41 while Lewis was 37. Vitali's career wasn't all that great anyway.

Lewis does nearly everything better and has a much bigger ring IQ.
Wlad was well programmed, but he does not adapt. Lewis was able to adapt mid fight.
Lewis knocks him out probably early.

 

I give the edge to Lewis, but it's not a confident vote. That said, it would have been an excellent fight!

Well fight for Vitali Lewis was at his end of career but he was very afraid of a rematch with him.

And Vitali is also better than Wladimir.

If pushed i'd have to put my money on a focussed Lewis to be cautious and avoid getting tagged - but Wlad is more than capable of doing what Rachman did to Lewis as well.

Mighty have ended up being quite a cagey / scrappy affair with a lot of clinching - initiated by Wlad of course

 

People are deluded.
Lewis got one-punched twice. Wlad has a better chin.
Wlad has better power in both hands.
Wlad is quicker and more refined.
Wlad is much smarter.
If Wlad lands his bombs on Lewis and it's very likely, Lewis will do a Tony Thompson impression slumped in the corner.
At best this is a 50/50 fight but I'd make it more like 60/40 or even 70/30 for Wlad who was clearly superior.

For people who think Lewis just bombs Wlad out, AJ likely hits harder than Lewis and Wlad got up early from a KD and also got up multiple times before the fight was called off. He'd not going to get KO'd just because Lewis lands. Wlad's clean bombs will destroy Lewis though, that's a fact.

 

Lewis was 37, Wlad was 39 and 41 in his last fights. Declined quickly

 

50/50 fight, but I would go with Lewis, as I don't trust Lewis' chin.
