I think its an interesting question because Arreola is a prominent American heavyweight right now. Compared to the top guys from Tyson's era we are noticing a drop off in quality. When it comes to American heavyweights you almost have to mention the past, the present is thin.
Arreola gets his ass handed to him in the first round, dropped 2 times. Tyson KO's him midway through the second.
I voted KO in round 2. But I was unsure cos it could easily be KO 1. 2 forward fighters going straight at eachother is exciting but rarely lasts many rounds espesh when they are both punchers.
Tyson very late stoppage, or lopsided decision against Arreola. I wouldn't **** on Chris too much. Because Mike hasn't finished off all his opponents in 3 rounds in his prime. I don't consider Arreola to be as weak jawed as some of his foes, in the mid to late 80's. It wasn't a exceptional division in that era...
Most of those that lasted rounds with Tyson did it by trying to be evasive....Arreola would go straight at Tyson cos he dont know how to fight any other way. But who knows...its all supposition. Have to admit he took a lot of hurtful shots off Vitali and never buckled once.
