How much of a chance does Dempsey have to beat the best version of Tyson?

I expect Tyson to win by KO, and early.

Tyson is pretty much a bigger, stronger and more durable version of Dempsey. It would be a great fight for the short period it would go.

I would look alot like dempsey vs firpo, except that dempsey is firpo here. Tyson wins, but dempsey might get a good shot in there, even so Tyson would destroy jack, unless he's too star struck by fighting dempsey who was his number one favorite boxer of all time

Tyson was Dempsey 2.0 the bigger, stronger maybe faster more polished version ko's the original.....Dempsey runs from no one and he wouldn't start here which is his downfall....Tyson started fights fast like Dempsey but having all the advantages

I don't think this fight lasts that long. Two or 3 rounds tops.

Dempsey in 1. Way more power defense foot and hand speed better chin footwork HEART, SAVAGERY, DETERMINATION, TENACITY. A GREATER FIGHTER BY FAR. EASY MONEY!

It's wishful thinking that Dempsey stops Tyson in 1. I doubt he'd stop a circa 2002 Tyson in 1. This would be a 180ish pound fighter coming forward to trade with 218 pound Tyson who could do everything Dempsey could plus was more refined and hit harder. If anyone's going out in 1, it'd realistically be Dempsey.

Tyson was like a nuclear blend of Patterson and Dempsey. Almost like if you could take the best of both fighters, mix them up and add some nuclear formula to it, you'd get a young Mike Tyson.

Wrong. Everything you said is wrong. You bigger is better boys will never understand the sport. It is obvious through your posts here and elsewhere you are a Tyson fanboy. Hey, I know, what if Hearns fought Tyson?

Yep. Size matters in this tussle. Young Tyson isn't a lumbering Jess Willard by a longshot. Maybe size wouldn't be as big of a deal vs say Gerry Cooney or Trevor Berbick. But a fast, power punching, defensively sound, pin point accurate, very durable opponent who outweighs you by 20-30ish pounds of muscle, you bet size matters.
