Wilder was usually around 215 and as low as 212 in his title fights. Not saying he "dominated" the era but he held legit belts. So both Wilder and Usyk have been HW champs which denies your contention that SHW have dominated the past 25 years.

Wilder was light at times but that's because he had no fat on him. 6'6 with massive range, he has a SHW frame and proved it by putting on bulk and getting up to 230-40. That's normal for SHW's to be lanky and roid to put on mass. It's what AJ did. Putting Wilder in the category of a small HW to try to prove small HW's from the past would compete well now is simply ridiculous.

And Hunter would beat Ali absolutely. Ali retired with brain damage because he had no defence. He also had no power. Put that together and he gets smashed by modern fighters.

Worst post I've read on here in quite some time.

Muhammad Ali stopped George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Sonny Liston (twice), Ron Lyle, Oscar Bonavena, Cleveland Williams, Zora Folley, Jerry Quarry (twice), Floyd Patterson, (twice), Jimmy Ellis, Archie Moore, Bob Foster, ... and made 19 successful heavyweight title defenses over two decades and was an Olympic Gold Medalist.

Michael Hunter hasn't won anything. Hasn't accomplished anything. And Hunter couldn't smash "Cassius Chaney" ... let alone Cassius Clay.

Andy Ruiz disagrees .. & Usyk ends your argument.. in fact Corrie Sanders weighed 225lbs when he obliterated WK. Same as Usyk weighs now.. He was fat & nearly 40 when he faced Vitali. The K2 brothers reigned over a poor division. Prime Holyfield beats both.

Those people were able to get away a crazy amount/dosage of peds, that would be easily caught today, nobody can get away with that **** anymore, unless they bribe everyone top to bottom (something like russian doping program). Those 80's super roiders almost ended modern atlhetics, because modern athletes, way less enhanced were looking like crap in comparison, they can't not be used as comparison, it's impossible to know what was the limit of their natural gifts.

Michael Hunter would be smaller and weaker if he was born when ali was born, ali would be bigger and stronger if he was born later, teletransporting people from an era to another is silly, everyone would be a product of their time, with the advantages and disavantages being add to it.

Yes - everyone is a product of their time. Absolutely true.

Ali was a true great in his era. Liston as well. Even Moorer (at 6'2" in the early 1990s) was Lineal champ for a time.

    Great boxers and true legends.

But transport them to today and almost all of them get found out by the giant athletic SHWs of our day.

We have 25 years of PROOF that what I'm saying is true.

And the fact that the CW division had to be created only confirms it.

    There is no continuous evolution.

The fights are determined by how the two guys match up on the night stylistically.

I’m sure you know this and are just having fun.

    Nobody is blind.

The only thing staggering, is your ignorance.

Size has been overcome many, many times.

The King of today’s division is a small HW.

EVERY fighter today in the top 10, has either struggled with, or been beaten by, a smaller HW.

What determines the outcome of ANY fight, is how the two guys match up on the night stylistically.

    That is literally it.

    There’s no continuous evolution.

Otherwise there’d be no fighters or divisions, which were better decades ago.

    Yet there clearly is.

There’s no logic in continuous evolution.

Because in order for it to be true, today’s best fighters would have to be the best fighters that we’ve ever seen.

The WW’s would have to be noticeably the best group of WW’s of all the time.

Then the same with the MW’s and the HW’s and so on.

Yet we can see that today’s MW division is currently at one if it’s weakest points in history, and simply nowhere near what it was in the 50’s, 80’s and 90’s. Nowhere near.

We can also see the same with many other divisions.

So there goes the evolution theory.

Now if you seriously don’t believe that Ali could compete today, and you’re being serious, your boxing knowledge is ZERO, and you need to go and watch other sports.

If you’re not trolling, it’s actually embarrassing. And especially as the current King has limited power, where he’s winning fights on movement, with the EXACT same dimensions.

Those so called TINY HW’s, are the EXACT same size as Usyk, you absolute genius.

What current big HW’s today, are GREAT??

Name me a big HW today.

And I’ll show you a SMALLER HW, who they either struggled with or lost to.

Only Wlad has dominated the HW division in the last 25 years.

    Nobody else.

And we have to apply context to his reign.
