Well said. I agree, Rocky has the better chin, Frazier is a slow-starter. Saying so, I don't mean nothing negative, I consider Frazier one of the most amazing boxers ever.

Not really buying Marciano being a " swarmer " strange description on some level, when I envisage a swarmer I tend to think of a Aryon Pryor type, for me the Rock was more of a pressure fighter, moving forward fairly slowly, looking for openings, so not a fight between two swarmers as far as I am concerned, but thats me, you differ, that's the beauty of this forum.
    stay safe buddy.

What I mean by that is both men aren't in the ring for jabs or boxing. They are there for punches. Fans are guaranteed to get action in this one and the match is highly likely the end is a knockout.

Fair play, now I get your meaning, as to the conclusion, if it was to end before the set rounds, Rocky would sustain too many cuts, so RSF or Frazier's face would be bruised and swollen to the extent that yet again, the ref would guide him to his corner, although you put knockout, I assume you don't mean that the ten count will be heard over either of them.
    stay safe amigo.
    Enjoy your posts.

I have a question for those saying that Rocky’s chin was better. I’m not saying it wasn’t, but How do we know this as fact ?

Whoever thinks this is an easy pick, or one fighter is "far greater"...Needs to be institutionalized. :bash::error:
Because they are clinically, perchance also criminally...Insane. :rolleye:

    However here is my reasoning.
Rocky better pro record, Frazier a bit tougher competition & obviously much better an an amateur.
Frazier a little bigger, strength similar, but makes little difference in a phone booth fight.
Marciano better punch variety & much better right hand.
But Joe did use his right a lot too, similar volume, Rocky slightly better endurance due to economy of movement.
Frazier slightly better defense, Rocky likely at least slightly better chin.

    Each has unquenchable fighting Spirit.
    Rocky cuts easier, Joe swells.

The difference? Likely Frazier's greater speed & accuracy.
Goes close to the distance before it is called a TKO neat the end.

Really a toss up, but I think if it's over 12 Frazier could narrowly outpoint Rocky or stops him late. If it's set for 15 and Rocky still hasn't slown down or gotten damaged, Rocky may take over late. Either way the fans get their money's worth in a hell of a war in the trenches and both guys for sure would be heavily damaged and exhausted at the end.
