He fights somwhat similar. He is far easier to hit, presents less angles. He is not nearly as fast. As for the last part, he said PRIME Jones. Not 34-35 yr old Jones. He actually used to fight off the ropes. Not lay on them.

ha ha. i think it jones would have a decent shot at beating Peter, Chagaev, and Maskaev. Peter is wildly inconsistent. Chagaev is becoming a joke of a titlist. Maskaev's got a lot of power but very slow. As long as he doesn't get caught, i could see jones win decisions against all 3. I don't know if he'd be the favorite, but ceratinly live. Peter and Maskaev could certainly ko him though. Chagaev has no right hand. Jones could exploit that

but wlad would end his life despite what my avatar suggests :nod

-Toss-ups with the other three (Peter, Maskaev, Chagaev). He could beat them all, but if he gets caught flush and hurt, they would put him away. I might favor Peter over him, but I could see him beating this version of Maskaev and outboxing Chagaev-

I actually agree with what KG says in regards to Dawson/Jones going to Decision, but I disagree with it being a close one. Jones went to Decisions with much lesser fighters at LHW, a weight he was less active in going for the KO or pressing the fight, and more willing to pot-shot and out-point, possibly looking to end the fight by accumulation or ref stoppage. I think he'd definitely go this route with a fighter with Dawson's skillset.

Also, a prime Jones may possibly stop the Hopkins of today. I also definitely agree that he has a shot at beating the 3 Heavies aside from Wlad.
