Harrison is 37 and has been out of the ring for too long, I imagine he would find fighting other pro boxers a bit to much of a step up from beating up Spanish prostitutes.

He hasn't produced what he's shown in the gym that's for sure but he'd still handle Scott with ease.
Moog would you agree Ricky opponents at world level have been of a higher level than scott's?

Who you kidding mate Nelson has achieved in 4 years what took Harrison 30 years, I think Nelson will go on to achieve much more
What has Harrison done Nelson hasn't?
Remembering Nelson was Harrison assistant throughout Scott's career

I was watching some old fights today from Breahead that place did create a good atmosphere, Scott v Wayne was magic as was Ricky v Moses

No well off, Ricky has only fought 2-3 world class opponents, Martinez, Crawford, Beltran (debatable), and before you say Kastidas and Mitchell, they were not world class (great to watch but not a world title between them except an interim belt that Kastidas held). Then look at early careers only good one I think Ricly fought was AAA and lost, were as Scott beat several ex world champs at similar stage

Nonsense, Peter Harrison has trained multiple world champions, is it not 3, multiple British/Commonwealth champions. Look t AAA would have had a much better career if he stayed with Peter Harrison. I am not for a minute not saying Billy is not a good coach and he has achieved a lot with and without Peter but to say he has achieved as much in 4 years as Peter has in 30 is not true. As Billy gracefully posted Peter is an expert at training fighters from scratch to great things, and I here he will have another batch of top fighters in a few years (has a young crop hes bringing through). Furthermore he is a world class amateur and a world class professional coach

Great boxing venue, terrible for transport or a pint afterwards though lol. Joe Gallagher said there is no politics in US with fighters with different trainers, managers and promoters sparring each other, made me think do you and Peter Harrison have your fighters spar each other? Or does politics get in the way?

Moog, Scott fought Kebede No64 in the world that was worse than anything Ricky fought by a mile, mc culloch was a SBW and took a beating because of Scott size advantage, 35 year old medina beat then lost to Scott, poor against polo many thought he lost, the only mandatory Scott fought was the American and how he became Madatory I will never know
Ricky has box 3 mandatorys in his last 4 fights also beat the ring magazines No1 SFW in Martinez,ex champ Moses and Katsitas as well as stoppingKevin Mitchell IMO that far outweighs scott just my opinion of coarse.
Gonzalez and Crawford were excellent and are better than any of Scott's challengers imo

We don't work together, although I'd help Peter if he asked but he wouldnt:rofl
Saying that Tommy Gilmour wouldnt let his fighters spar mine without being paid even if it benefited both fighters so id just rather not ask and get sparring from England, we're there always helpful

Kedebe was mandatory challenger Billy, hence Scott had to fight or vacate. Lets face it Ricky choose to fight Nicky Cook, who couldn't stand up and throw a punch (was out of retirement for fight and had serious back injury). McCullough was world class as seen way he went distance with Scott, Naz, Moralas at featherweight, and Scott beat him easiest of the 3. Even said after Scott was better than the rest (some compliment from a man who shared ring with them all). Remember the fighters then, so when Scott was fighting guys rated 4-10 they were behind Scott and Marquez, Barrera, Moralas, guys who would be world champions now. Remember Scott beat Tracey Patterson only 5 months after Patterson only lost to world class Jones on points, and in the US in only his 12 fight. 13th fight he beat Tom Boom Boom Johnson, some going. Mendina was world class regardless of age, and remember Scott never got totally outclassed in career unlike Ricky on a few occassions

Total madness. People shouldn't get paid for sparring, its an education (expenses if travelling far and sparring a champ fair dos). All its doing is holding each others fighters back, at end of day Peter will have guys that would benefit sparring with Ricky, and yours with Scott eg. Hopefully that's something that will get sorted (not blaming u). I know if I was boxing it would do my head in if I was caught in middle of that ****). Its not that is psychological part of a fighter having to go in to a rival gym and spar there top guys, as I say gets guys out of comfort zone

So in all honesty Moog you think Kebede was a worthy mandatory challenger in the same leauge has Gonzalez and Crawford
I remember Scott had a chance to fight barrios at SFW and Peter refused the fight even though if he lost he'd have kept his FW title WHY?

That's why I'd prefer to get sparring from England
I tell you if Ricky were to fight say John Murray for instance if I asked Peter (scotts manager)for Scott to spar I know the answer

I disagree not paying sparring partners to help, if a fighters getting well paid he needs to pay accordingly for quality sparring for his preparation
