I'm a huge Mosley fan, but Mayweather outpoints him ... FM UD
I'll take a 2009 Pac Man over Floyd ... Pac Man KO

I don't know about Mosley, but as you said, It would have been a hell of a fight. I do think a prime De La Hoya beats him though.

Agreed. Mayweather has problems with pressure with the jab and De la Hoya took him to a SD. If Oscar dosent tire those last 2 rounds and applied that jab, he wins the fight. He lost that fight in the last 2 rounds, ran out of gas

Oscar got wiped out rounds 9-12. Not just the last two rounds. He didn't apply that jab towards the end for a reason.. Right hands don't taste good.. Especially when fatigued.

Ya first of all no one got wiped out. It was a close fight .imo .. and that was my point that the fight was up for grabs in the last 2 rounds

I agree De La Hoya beats Mayweather prime, but it was more than 2 rounds at the end Oscar faded...His fuel tank was empty long before that

A prime Shane Mosely would merely be an accelerated version of the one that fought Mayweather. Which means that Mayweather would use the same strategy albeit at a faster mode to solve the problem..

People seem to forget besides being tired one of the reasons Oscar stopped jabbing was because floyd was countering it with right hands. Eating a crisp clean counter is one reason you stop jabbing.

No such fight would be possible since Floyd would go nowhere near a prime Shane Mosely.

I think prime Mosley has a chance against almost any lightweight or welterweight. He was so athletic and powerful but also sneaky with the way he set up his power shots. His feints and traps are underrated. I couldn't guarantee round 2 happens just like it did in their fight, but I think moments like that would happen more frequently and Mosley would be able to follow up better. Shane from the first DLH fight blitzing Floyd is a real possibility, and you can't say that about most fighters.
