LoL you must have known that Kessler had a back injury when he fought Mundine. He was fighting at 70% (very similar to the Calzaghe fight)...

the reason why we don't reply to you - to avoid you cutting and pasting your failed meaningless 1000 word 4 year old essays that flood and ruin ESB.

so instead you wrote a new meaningless essay... sigh -

I wouldn't say that the best fighters have always fought on the US soil as you say. Klitschko, the best heavyweight in the world, fights in Germany and not in the US. There you go, the best example you can find.

If you make more money fighting in Germany than you would in the US, it's logical that you will fight there and not in the US.

If Wladimir hypes his fights as you say so, then Mayweather and Pacquiao do the same thing as well. As the matter of fact, they make a real circus of boxing when it comes to all of those promotional shows prior to the fight. That's some WWE level stuff. I believe that the Germans will always tune to watch the heavyweight champion in the world because he is a superstar and fights there, regardless of the opponent and in my opinion it is natural that every boxing fan would watch the heavyweight championship match regardless of who is fighting.

I've never compared Germany to the US or any other country, simply because it doesn't matter where the boxer fights. The point actually was that Sven Ottke was famous in Germany and unknown in the US, just like Andre Ward is (hopefully) going to be quite famous in the US and still unknown in Germany and most of the Europe. I don't know why did you change the subject but this was the original topic we were debating about.

Ottke 21 title defenses stopping Undefeated Mundine, 21 title defenses never knocked down ever

Ottke in 168 was the real dominant champion 1998-2004, the WBO back in 1998 was the lesser of the 4 belts...barely recognized as a world title. Ottke held IBF and WBA

Seems Kessler would have been the undefeated best ever SMW had he not had injuries and problems against Mundine, Calzaghe, Ward, Froch.
So now Kessler you say Kessler couldnt do as well as Ottke due to a back injury and only being 70%, which I guess means you rate Ottke, as Kessler was even less when he fought Froch in my opinion

JC Apologists always inflate Kessler win & downplay his other losses for it to seem ATG material :think, LACY is a legend in the UK. Until this day he is still on their TV highlights...the same undefeated Lacy who barely kept his title vs a worn down Omar Sheika :yep

Both Kessler and Lacy are/were very good SMWs but to constantly say Kessler was injured for every poor performance, although it may be correct, it is never said after a good performance. I am a big Kessler fan when I say that.
As for Lacy, he was completely exposed by the best SMW ever, but in fairness had beaten world rated Vanderpool, world rated Tsypko, world rated Pemberton, world rated Reid and beat Sheika who years later gave world rated Diaconu a tough fight. Which by todays top 10 standards is high overall.
Both Lacy and Kessler were unfortunate to be in an era with the greatest SMW ever, had both been prime today, I expect would be further ahead.

I agree Andre Ward was a class ahead of them :thumbsup

Sven Ottke the Longtime IBF 168 champ & Calzaghe the Longtime WBO 168, were also clear favorites above Lacy & Kessler

Well theres no 'I' in duck, certainly. But if there was, you'd be one quacker than you can say 'brewer, reid, Mitchell, tate, Johnson'.

Just before you go off on one huge long cut and paste failed 4 year old essay, that's just a duck to you, not an answer. Thank fcuk for that.

    amen to that.

Ward was better than faded Kessler and never fought Lacy. How Ward would do against a top prime undefeated SMW with pedigree is still unknown, as it is also unknown how he would do against an undefeated boxer, mover, puncher

What's your definition of a top prime undefeated SMW with pedigree? Just curious my friend.
