Morrison's cement feet and lawnmower gas tank would never have been able to pull off that strategy against a younger elite heavy.

Obviously, I applaud and appreciate so called "negative fighters" and their performances...Tommy could have borne in mind that quote of Willie Pep, which that other Willie, Pastrano that is, often cited,...that "the fans don't pay your hospital bills"...look Seamus, I believe that you and I are in agreement most of the time, especially in appraisal of the great Carlos Monzon....I agree with you most of the time about almost everything, but in this case, I have to respectfully differ with you. Tommy Morrison brilliantly executed and stuck to a very smart and winning game plan,...again, to his everlasting credit.

I don't doubt that at all,....but it sure as hell worked vs Foreman. Changed his style, employed brains over brawn and won on points....mission accomplished.

+1. It was that they had the right plan and stuck with it in the first place that nobody expected.

Twasn't exactly rocket science, but that's about how much "credit" Mr. Morrison's boxing brain was given going into the fight.

Shut up dumbo. Your no knowledge of the sport hurts my brain.

Holyfield floored Moorer with a lead left hook. Refrain from postinng posting if you think he possessed a better left hook than Morrison.

I never said left hook was more important than straight right but it sure as hell is the next in line. You fool.
The first shot that scrambled Martinez against Cotto was a left hook to the head.
Holyfield clearly finishes Moorer with a left hook -right uppercut combo.
Morrison wouldn't even need the uppercut to Finnish as Moorer as the first left hook landed would take his dome clean off.

Morrison was more agile than Moorer. By far. If he took Moorer as seriously as he did Foreman , the fight wouldn't even be competitive.

Amazing how Wlad is a spectacular athlete when he gassed out on many occasions , but the supposedly poor conditioned Morrison never did , despite having a higher workrate and being more active around the ring. Amazing isn't it.:think

It's almost as amazing as how Wlad's listed reach is 81 inches, yet he's reached you and countless others enough to cause such traumatic damage.

The selfish tyrant just doesn't care how many lives he ruins.
