After gruesoem struggles which he was knocked down, and had his jaw busted.

He did not "destroy" in these fights, he survived them.

Tommy Morrison= Stiff, glass jawed asthematic club fighter with a left hook that was good, not exellent, not from hell, but good only because of steroids.

Both Wlad and Morrison have glass chins and heavy hands. Wlad is the better overall fighter though, if he could use the jab early and wait to throw the bombs until the middle rounds he would probably win by knockout.

Wlads defense is nothing impressive, a less developed puncher like Peter was able to land on Wlad and floor him 3 times, Morrison has a better chance of beating Wlad than some people think. If Morrison connects on Wlads glass chin early, we might see Wlad go into one of his famous panic attacks where he falls a few times before the fight is stopped. Wlad wins this one 65% of the time IMO.

 

I completely agree that the fight wouldn't last 3 rounds. Tommy Gunz would be out of there before the first round ended.

 

Must you always discredit Wlad? Peter knocked Wlad down by hitting him in the back of the head. And if you look at the statistics at about every Wlad fight his defense shows that biggest differentials in punches landed by opponents. Statistically he has an outstanding defense. And in a fight every fighter is expected to land punches. In that case are you also going to tell me that James Toney's defense is horrible because Peter was able to hit him way more times then he hit Wlad. Same goes for Wlad vs Byrd. Statistically Wlad has the best defense of any heavyweight with maybe the exception of Eddie Chambers.

Wlad doesnt win this 65% of the time he wins 95% of the time. His jab wouldn't allow the shorter Tommy to penetrate and his right hand would put Morrison on ***** street.
