If you compare them Prime 4 Prime, then do so correctly.

2005 Wladimir was not prime. Neither was he prime in any of his losses 10 years ago.

2011 Wladimir vs. 1988 Tyson would be a treat for any boxing fan.
Very hard to predict the outcome.

Not trolling at all, simply illustraing the point of my post, which is that Mike is not an all time great heavyweight. His legacy is about putting asses in seats and selling PPV's, which is nothing to be ashamed of. I should be banned for what? Disrespecting your hero? Sorry. Its not my fault that the guy isnt as great as people like to pretend. Very good sure, but not great, imo.
Here, if this makes it better... his most impressive victim was Desire Washington...

    Blah blah blah

His legacy is about being the youngest man ever to unify the heavyweight championship and cleaning out the division at the age of 20

His most impressive victims are Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, Donovan Ruddock, Tony Tucker, Bonecrusher smith, Frank Bruno et al

I'll be reporting your post as your obviously an alt of vlad23/champion/bubby/generic k2 troll wierdo

Valid point. Mike never beat, or even fought, anyone truly comparable to Wladimir, with the exception the the beating he took against Lewis( who is similar to Wlad in some ways, but not so much in others). Same can be said the other way around. I just feel that saying "Mike KO 1, total destruction" and **** like that is a bit absurd.

Haye was an idiot in that fight. He tried to fight Wlad from the outside, yet Wlad was still affraid of him. Wlad has no answer when a fighter gets in close, he cannot fight at close range to save his life. You think Tyson can't get in close? He has the worst pudding chin at HW. A Tyson uppercut would absolutely crush him.

Whats this legendary footspeed Tyson had?
Seen all his fights, his footwork was ok but speedy? hell no.
His upperbody movement and his handspeed was amazing true, footspeed? not so much.

Also that upperbody movement would slow down a lot after the 3d or 4th round.

Tyson has 3 or 4 rounds to get Wlad out of there, with the pre manny Wlad this is a very real possibility, the post Manny it would be challenging but still possible.

After the 4th though i would not bet a dime on Tyson anymore.

I am not an alt, cry baby. My name is Dan and I live in Maribel, WI USA. Now run along and taddle, because I said something you didnt like, Mamma's boy. Can I send you a tissue? Is there something I can say that would comfort you? Maybe you should enter more private forums, like a Mike Tyson fan club where you can celebrate all of his genuine as well as mythical achievements:roll:

Patterson is still the youngest to unify the hw division...

    Get your facts straight.

No, Patterson was the youngest fighter to win the HW belt, there was just one.

Tyson was the youngest to unify. (He won the WBA, WBC & IBF). He was also the youngest man to beat the lineal champion.

If Buster Douglas could beat a "Prime" Tyson, then so could wlad.

Isnt it possible that Haye and other fighters try to lunge in from all the way outside because Wlad's power is truly impressive? Also, Wlad is very strong at clitching up opponents when he is at a disadvantage or the opponent is too close for his liking. Like it or not, its a tactic as old as boxing. Lewis used it to great effect against Tyson, as did Holyfield and Douglas. Mike is lazy in the clinches, and rarely worked out of them. That is a big reason why I stylistically favor Wlad in this match up, not to mention their resume's against fighters of similar size/statuer, of course.

This is surely possible. But so is a Dempsey-Willard type destruction with Tyson blowing Wlad out in three rounds or less.

It's precisely because there are good reasons to believe this fight could go either way that it is a VERY intriguing matchup.

No. Patterson is the youngest man to win the heavyweight title. This is a fact.

There was only one title, so nothing can be joined together or unified. This is common sense.

Tyson is the youngest man ever to unify at hw. Winning all the titles = unification.
