My, your a salty sort ain't ya? If you are alluding to my belief that Holmes beats young Foreman in any kind of fight they get into, I still feel that way. Foreman was crude, wide winging punches and yes, for me, Larry takes him out. If he chose to get into a firefight with peak Tyson I suspect he'd end up staring at the lights. Why? Styles make fights, and here we go again. Tyson was a more efficient powerful puncher than young Foreman. And he was an incredible finisher. His hand speed and punch selection are levels above Foreman for me. But, we are talking peak for peak, prime for prime. And prime Larry doesn't get into a firefight with Mike. Does that answer your question clearly and concisely enough? We don't agree, is that any reason to make snarky comments and attempt to belittle the opinions, because that is all they are brother, of others? You rate George, as do I, just not against Holmes. And that's cool man, it really is.
Wound up? No, not at all. But trying to suggest that I am is a failed attempt to wind up. How old is that young’n’ who old man Usyk just beat?
If Holmes had the power and/or ability to beat Foreman in a firefight, why was he struggling against the rather mediocre opposition he did face? Why not just demolish them from the getgo, Why bother even trying to outbox his opponents in the first place? I suppose he did it to give them a chance?
Are we going around in circles here? Style make fights. If this imaginary fight turned into a firefight, I believe that Foreman is too crude, too wild and doesn't have the gas tank to take Holmes out. I don't believe he could KO Larry and every punch Larry hits him with during their exchanges would be hard, accurate and efficient. I am not suggesting that Holmes would chose to engage in this kind of fight. Way too smart for that. Bit if it ended up being that way for whatever reason I feel George tires and ends up stopped. Larry wasn't that kind of fighter, he wasn't a knock em down, drag em out fighter. THATS why he boxed the way he did. My point was, and remains, I can't see Foreman breathing him regardless how the fight goes. And I LIKE George.... I might easily be wrong though, it happens quite often....
