Prime Tyson vs Prime Frazier

Bob Foster never beat a heavyweight of even remotely top class he had been wrecked by light hitting Ernie Terrell, resoundingly thrashed by Zora Folley, one judge scoring it a shut out and stopped by 182lbs Doug Jones the only 3 heavyweights of note he had fought when he challenged Frazier he was deservedly unranked when he fought Frazier.

He was a soft defence just like Daniels ,Stander , Zygliewisz,and the hyped Ramos.

Bonecrusher had the height, weight, and strength to smother Tyson plus he fought just to survive.Frazier did not have any of those attributes and Frazier only knew one way to fight ,come straight to you ,against a man who had faster hands 35lbs of wieght on you ,a two fisted attack , more power,a better chin, and a better variety of punches that is fistic suicide.

Oscar Bonavena a crude brawling slugger met Frazier in the trenches, floored him twice and hurt him badly,Bonavena was never off his feet in two fights.
Tyson was light years better than Bonavena in speed ,durability,power, defence,and skills.
Frazier doesn't get past the halfway mark before being sparked or rescued.

 

the Bob Foster that Joe Frazier fought would have beaten Michael Spinks of the vintage that faced Tyson. Spinks faced an old Holmes. Fraizer's ripping hookswould keep Tyson honest.

 

That is your opinion it is not a fact.
I happen to think Foster is one of the very great lhvys but Spinks would always be a very tough fight for him,and a muscled up 212lbs Spinks would deservedly start favourite over Foster because of Foster's track record against heavyweights of any ability.

Tyson takes out Frazier imo, and I think it would be quick.
Tyson has every physical advantage ,reach,speed, two handed power, superior power ,better defence, better chin, , bigger man, better variety of punches , better tested against power punchers, the left hooks of Bruno and Ruddock,the right hand of Smith.

How can anyone rationally pick against that?:huh

 

Tyson did Ko people in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th as well

he also showed his power late when he knocked down Ruddock in one of the late rounds and obviously Douglas in round 9 and stopped Ribalta in 10.

Also, Frazier and Smith boxed nothing alike. I dont know if you've seen the fight, but Smith didnt even throw a punch until the last 10 seconds of the 12th round, hes lucky he wasnt DQd because all he did all night was clinch.
