    At first glance I tended to agree with the majority here, since Patterson was diametrically opposite the big lumbering fighters that Young excelled against..but then I remembered my own admonition...don't sell Young short like so many make the the mistake of doing. Young could have perplexed Floyd in ways that would be quite unexpected. Young would have countered and messed up Floyd's timing and he had the capacity to rattle Floyd with unexpected, sneaky counters...but this fight could have quite possibly gone to a draw..don't underestimate the master of negativity here.
