Prime: Wladimir Klitschko .Vs. Frank Bruno

Bruno did have stamina related issues. He was dead tired in a 12 round match with McCall. McCall didn't press it enough in the later rounds. If McCall pressed the action, I think he would have won via TKO win.

Bruno is beloved in Brittan. I've never seen a Brit be derogatory with Bruno. He was a " big dumb nice guy, with skeltons's eh? Player hating is your specialty here.

 

I don't think Wlad has a better jab than Lewis.

He appears more impressive because his level of opposition is weaker, facing his fair share of startled rabbits that don't move.

His left hook his better I'd say, but he doesn't use it (or the right) nearly enough.

Back to the topic....

Wlad certainly can beat Bruno, of course, but I'm not sure he'd look to press the action in order to force a stoppage for fear of getting nailed. It's a question of whether he can up the pace to affect Frank's stamina, Wlad likes to fight in a measured and deliberate manner.

 

I'd give Bruno a 1 in 10 chance to beat Wlad. Not impossible, just highly unlikely.

I already said I was no fan of Bruno, I just respect his ability and like his chances against a guy with a glass chin that's all.

 

Klitschko wins mid to late rounds. Bruno always blew up after 7-8 rounds in the few times he went that far

 

And? Larry Holmes got out-jabbed by Carl 'The Cat' Williams at times, are you going to say he doesn't possess a great jab aswell?

 

wlad definitely has a better jab than lewis,but lewis has that killer instict that saved him against bruno.

As I said before Fighting Weight is a hater. In fact most of his posts here are anti Klitschko. Such is his hobby.

 

I've not been anti-Klitschko in this thread, just pro-Bruno.

I don't understand why you would purposely spell their name wrong to disrespect the klitschkos and annoy the fans. What does that do? What does it accomplish?

 

maybe he is.. But your title next to your name is completely wrong. I don't think Vitali Klitschko is an ATG.
Wlad, maybe, I think he ranks in the top 20 ATG already.
