Foreman was mentally weak at his peak? The premise is false.
After Ali he had those difficulties.

And he was 40-0 w/37 KOs before then.
Baer is not going to outlast him.

He couldn't tie Louis up. Louis moved him when and where he wanted, Foreman would crush Primo.

Louis, in fact, muscled Primo in their bout by lifting him off his feet at one point to position him.

Louis's verdict on Primo was, " he had nothing".

Interesting how no one here says that Primo's power could impact George .. the man did have many KO's ..

Carnera could hurt you plenty if he hit you right, but I don't think that his power would have bailed him out here.

He couldn't even hurt Tommy Loughran...and hit him flush at times. Primo's "ko" record had some help, if you know what I mean.

A guy who fails to even drop Tommy Loughran ain't gonna hurt George Foreman.

Tommy Loughran had a chin like a block of iron.

You can't draw any inference from his failure to hurt Loughran.

Really .. he was iced by Jack Sharkey w all of 13 KO's and bounced like a ball by light heavy Lomski .. he had an iron chin like Roy Jones did .. iron if not hit ..

And Primo could never hurt him or drop him. It's easy to amass a ko record when you have Jimmy the Weasel and Al the Chin sitting at ringside.
