The bald truth of it is We don't know if Wilder could even beat Campolo.

Beating Ortiz still won't prove it either. Ortiz has looked next to useless since he's fought without Performance enhancements. He's never looked as good after he was caught juicing.

Carnera kept getting up from Baers power. Many times he went over because his ankle was broke. Primo could not put any weight on it without going over each time he was tagged. Even so, Carnera was stopped on his feet.

The crazy thing about the Baer v Carnera fight is that without the knockdowns Primo was actually winning that fight with one leg!

In a exhibition many years later Primo totally schooled Baer.

Carnera could have won an official rematch.

Very little, no. I didn't say it was a slight probability. On the other hand I'd bet at least a couple fingers that Carnera is physically stronger.

Carnera went down from just about every roundhouse right hand Baer landed
Wilder also has an excellent jab when he elects to use it.In every department Wilder is superior .

When who can lift the most becomes the criteria for picking a winner I will walk away from boxing.

Oh, it's not a major criterion, but I'm sure it contributes a bit, particularly in the clinches.

If you stand in front of Wilder and don't have head movement you are likely dead meat. And Carnera isn't going to beat him to the jab either.

No, Carnera is a much better technician.
