Wow reading the comment about my family being dirt poor, was extremely sad.. As Eloys sister I guess I'll give you guys an update. Eloy hasn't been in the boxing scene since his last fight with broner, Eloy was messed up during that time. He has just lost his best friend before the fight and couldn't cope with the loss and went down a troubling path.. hence the coke in his system. He went into hiding because he was ashamed. He didn't even have a chance in the ring compared to broner that dude was huge compared to Eloy who was about 129lbs! He had no business being in the ring with broner. Eloy is doing well right now working, married and in a different country now. He's traveling, pursing his dream and traveling around.

It wasn't insulting, just sad to read because that's a big part of our life and the reason my brother worked hard during these fights. I'm glad people still think about Eloy. I really wish he would have made better life choices but after the broner fight. Life changed his so called "managers" dropped him and wanted nothing to do with him.
