Aurelio Herrera may've been the hardest.

The 70's is soooooo mainstream. If you were truly hip you'd know that went out of style like last Fall. The in-topic these days is obscure, turn-of-the-century fighters with no available footage. I mean, hellloooooo, get with it!

Unlucky you pair of pissy nosed clunge flaps. I'd already heard of Aurelio Herrera. If i were you i'd move onto a different species altogether. You know last week's obscure fighter is too mainstream when a guy who thinks Roy Jones Jr would outbox Chucho Castillo, open weight, has heard of him

Possibly, but I still have Hamed's power over Callejas. Fenech walked through everything Callejas threw at him, but i dont think Fenech could afford to do the same against Hamed.

Callejas had one of the better left hook knockdowns I've ever seen (the fight was stopped shortly after) in one of his fights with an opponent whose name escapes me. Literally lifted him up off the ground to come crashing back down on his knees. Cartoon stuff.

Edit: Loris Stecca was the opponent. Check this **** out:

Danny Lopez jumped to the front of my mind as a harder puncher.

The power Lopez had says a lot about the chin that chava had. The guys chin was literally made out of truck tire, another thread in itself.

He was neither the first nor the last to do that to Augie Sanchez.

Hamed could whack, but Lopez,Arguello,Nelson,Pac also come to mind to me from the recent era. However if you go to the General Forum,Hamed's fans swear he's not only the hardest featherweight puncher ever, but also one of the greatest featherweights ever as well. It's very diffucult to introduce facts to his particular group of fans as they're convinced they're right despite evidence to the contrary.
