How to have people hate on a fighter 101:

Make a thread about him vs a much more skilled opponent so that the mere thought of the fight would make that fighter come off as being overrated.

Congratulations on a job well done.

Anyone thinks naseem any one great let alone thinking he would knock out pbf lost all credibilty. All I remember in that fight was naseems eyes rolling back and his ears flooping all over the place when barerra a very good fighter but not great was smacking him all over the ring. Overhyped.

Those two highlighted parts are very ironic.

I dont know about that. Mayweather was a nasty puncher at 130. I think it would have Naz getting his head taken off to be honest.

Besides Hamed catagorically turned this fight down because he simply didnt fancy getting embaressed. And he would have done

did he say he turned the fight down cos he'd get embarrassed? or is that just your opinion?

if they had a war naz would have sparked him. He had enough power to knock out a small horse

Prince is probably my favorite all time fighter, having said that I think floyd would have taken him out. As unorthodox as prince was, floyd seems to have an answer for everything. I would have LOVED to see this fight though. I'd love to see prince fight a heavy bag or paper sack or anybody at the end of the day. Dude was 100% entertainment 100% of the time. War prince

Basically, dude, Naz at the time was fighting at featherweight - a division or two above his natural weight. He only moved up because that's where the big money fights were. He could have fought comfortably at super bantamweight if he wanted to.

So when Floyd - a super featherweight at the time - wanted to fight Naz, Naz was like "How many more times do they want me to move up?". And he was right. It's the equivelant of Mayweather going up to fight a B-Hop at middleweight. Furthermore, this was at a time when Naz' love for the game was at its all time low. He couldn't be bothered to take guys in his own weight seriously, never mind an extremely talented one that had ridiculous size advantages over him at a higher weight. It would have been ridiculous to have expected him to fight Floyd then.

PBF at 130 hit harder than Naz at 126. On fight night Floyd would be the bigger puncher, faster, more technically sound and with a huge reach advantage.

People are so used to Floyd at 147 they forget the power he had at 130-135 when he didnt have hand problems

Floyd would have beaten Naz's ass as bad as Gatti or Corales. Utter mismatch.
