Kelly was a TOP fighter at the time Naz beat him. MAB was considered a good fighter and on of the best in the division but MOST felt he would be KO'd by Naz. MAB was transforming at the time he faced Naz from a pure brawler to a Boxer/puncher and that made the difference in my opinion. THAT MAB we saw in there with Naz was a new version of Marco the world hadn't seen before.
I don't think it would be a blowout like a lot of people seem to think, but I would pick Pac by UD. At fw Pac was not nearly as developed as he is now. The two of them have similar physical abilities in power, handspeed, and the both have good chins, Hamed just had horrible balance. The deciding factor I see here would be workrate, Hamed was most comfortable in a slow paced fight where he could use his athletic abilities to land those hard pot shots. Pac would be coming forward all night throwing non-stop punches, and so I think his pressure would give him the UD.
no he isnt and no he wouldnt against Prime Naz, his only hope is winning by decision and thats unlikely
he couldnt drop Naz if they fought for 24hrs, no one has other than a couple when he has been off balance. and it obviously wouldnt be 140 Pac he'd be fighting would it? The only one who would be stopped if there was going to be one would be Pac.
You can easily spot the *******s on every thread, every boxing video on youtube and every boxing discussion on the whole ****ing internet typing "Pacman KO1" incessantly. Tedious ****s.
Jesus people need to stop sucking Pacmans nads and get real. Let me put it this way... Just because you do not like Naz it does not make it an instant KO 1 for Pac. People love Pac so much they cannot admit he is unbeatable, its bull****. Any real boxing fan will obviously support thier fave fighter, but not to the point where they are saying delusional crap about them beating anybody out there by KO in 1 or some other ****, support your fighter but dont be so ****ing delusional. Its funny how people say a prime Tyson will beat all these HW greats but he got broke by BD fair and square, but everybody hates on Hamed who was similar to Tyson in the fact he looked impressive in his prime then faded, loosing to MAB after beating avarage to good opposition. Why all the Tyson love and Hamed hate? It just shows how hype and love for certain fighters ****s up peoples views on boxing what the hell has happened to all the honest boxing fans nowdays?
This would have been a great fight especailly at 122 or 126. It's really a pick em fight that I lean more towards Hamed who was more dominant at those weighst than Pac.
LOL - The ignorance is pretty amazing. Pac KO1 against Hamed??? Seriously. This is a dude who's never been stopped before. How about a logical basis for this prediction... And the amazing thing is that almost a majority of people on this thread were making that prediction.
The *******s who say dumb **** like that probably don't even know who Naz is let alone have ever seen him fight.
I see a close but clear win for Pac mainly because he's never been dominated at featherweight. Even an underdeveloped Pac overwhelmed great technicians in JMM and Barrera whereas Nas didn't give Barrera much competition. Despite losing Pac still looked good in his first fight with Morales and if that had been a 15 rd fight, I'm not so sure Erik would still win. Nas has a puncher's chance though. He might even hit harder than Pac at FW.
we'll never know the answer. One thing for sure is that Naseem Hamed could and should have been around by the time Pacquiao hit the US shore. In essence, Hamed was ducking Pac and everyone else when he lost to Barrera.
