Hes ****y and calla out of other fighters, but if you knew some of his history in the sport maybe you would understand why mate.
Yeah i understand perfectly what and why he is doing something but he also making his bed, he has to lie in it. If someone who acts like a dik to the public gets treated like a dik by the public he has no defence.
Yeah but he even said he doesnt give a **** what people think as they have no relevance in the sport.
Tamwar desperately trying to defend prince Patel is one of the most tragic things I think I've ever seen
Kl Terry .. i get on pretty well with ya on here and you know i dont carry any agenda with me. But i just re-iterate you reap what you sow... I dont know about his back story and why he does things he obv doesnt want the public to know this as well otherwise he wouldnt be slow to tell. Therefore we only judge him on what he is doing now since he became relevant in that time he is happy to disrepect the sport, women, other boxers the guys that are interviewing him. Ie make himself out to be a cu_nt of a guy, to obv draw up interest more tickets etc i get why he is doing it however the flipside is he has to then accept the flak thrown his way for his actions
hes a ****, but I find myself wanting to watch his interviews rather than someone like boring scott quigg. He's doing what a flyweight has to do and getting his name out there, can't blame the guy.
Bull$hit the public, average joe are very relevant to the sport at the end of the day they are the reason they do what they do .... the paying public are the ones that determine how much they get paid.
Yeah your one of the better posters on here who wants to chat boxing not troll. There are reasons why he has been somewhat disrespectful towards the ifl crew, reasons I wont go into on a public message board mate. Like i say the character he is portraying is all designed to help him get to where he wants to be within the game, its not a true reflection of the whole person mate.
ahh rite however i still stand by my view that if any other guy (NOT PATEL!),a nice guy, a quiet guy, a respectful guy. Then goes onto public media outlets saying he hates woman, would **** them would do this to them would do that to them, spit on them. Then the very public that he is broadcasting to is gonna assume this is what he is therefore that said person cannot then say that the backlash shouldnt happen cos im really actually a nice guy. You aint stupid Terry you know exactly the point im making and I fully understand why you dont wanna agree due to the loyalties you have and also maybe an insight that others dont but then those interviews are not for you they are for people like me and other members of the public who know nothing about him. And the response he gets is the response 1 that is natural, 2. is what he wants and 3. is deserved
Yeah I agree with you, but obviously when you have a affiliation someone, you stand by them. I think over the course of time the true story will come out.
No I understand what and why you are doing ... again that is only natural. That is the reason that I said its prob best you dont comment on these sorta threads about him purely for that reason. P Patel is deliberately looking to get this sorta response due to his public persona. I imagine it will (truth) ... however that will prob happen after the initial hype and popularity dissapear (cos on a boxing note i see him being British level so a British title if he knuckles down) which isnt bum level as many will say on here. But the image he is creating for him just now is not one that will last its more of a sure thing that will guarantee money in short term but will hurt him long term as he will struggle to build up real affiliations with fans and more a baying public demanding he is beaten. Once htast happens the public will hve got what they want and will dissapear. Its just basic psychology. He will get from the sport what he wants tho.
it will get to a point where people are only watching him to see him put on his ****, when that happens people will lose any interest they had as anything he says or does can just be answered with "you got sparked out by (insert name)" I don't blame him for saying stupid things to get recognised, not many boxers get spoke about after 1 pro fight like he did but unless he gets to world level and prove he belongs there he will always just be looked out for to see if hes been sparked out yet, when it does happen his numbers will just dwindle
