Could this be done in Australia like in the UK?
Or is there not enough money or interest?
I reckon it would be good to watch on fox sports even if it is over 3rounds at least some of the best domestic boys would actually fight each other if the prize was worth winning.

    Opinions?

I have often thought the same thing. Make it NSW v QLD or VIC vs WA. Get that rivalry going :good

TBH I dont think boxing hold a good enough repuatation down under to get big financial backing for these type of events. ONE HD proved this with their boxing series cut short by grubby antics and poor main events (Hoppa v Mirovic)

I would love to to see an Aussie HW Prize Fighter. The Prize Fighter title kinda carries a bit of weight and if it was made worthwhile for all the top boys, I would guess they would be in.

I think it would have to be under the 'Prize Fighter' name though which i guess would need to many fingers to be in the pie for it to ever work.

I guess money is the issue fighters couldn't afford to train their ass off for a winner takes all stake in Australia, they got families with mortgage, bills etc. Would be great though but just don't see it happen unless the promoters are willing to pay all expenses which i don't see that happening.

No , for prize fighter heavyweight to take off it would require all parties agreeing to actually fight each other , each heavy down under currently appear happy with the status quo of their respective careers and the path they are each taking from what I've seen and read .

As would I, it suits Leapai's style.
Plus the 30 mins break between fights also helps.
The longer in rounds the fight goes...Leapai's stamina issues come into play.
