I am backing Kevin Johnson to win this.

I dont want Sprott to win. The guy is finished, we need some younger blood.

;) Gregory Tony has the easiest route into the semi's and has been overlooked by some on here. Good power and a solid boxer. He was 9-1 earlier so I stuck my money on him, a meagre one pound on him..

It'll be hard to back Johnson when he's no longer in it..

Just seen the latest line up. In that case I do think Mike Perez is the favourite. Gregory Tony and Tye Fields are possible winners.

Did anyone watch the video of Tye Fields on here ,how anyone could say he looks like a possible winner after watching that is beyond me. If Sprott wins he will have to do it the hard way Fields - Gregory Tony - Perez not easy if you ask me. Thats why I see Perez winning plus fighting first is a major advantage.

Backed Fields at 5/1 and Tony at 9/1. Being a 6'8 south paw I could see fields jabbing his way to victory over 3 rounds. Looks a decent bet to me.

Thought Perez was meant to be in the best shape of his life? 240+ is not good at all.

    Sprott will smash Fields.

Even though he's not really a puncher he's got enough dig to win these kinda fights. I've never boxed in my life but I reckon within an hour or so I'd be harder to nail with a right hand than Fields.

Sprott is just a proper fighter, maybe the term "journeyman" is a bit harsh but he's got a lot of the tricks that a good journeyman has.... added to a fair bit of skill. He could be right in the mix domestically but is obviously doing alright sparring in Europe and giving unbeaten opponents a tough ten rounds.

Just wish he hadn't tried to stop Harrison in the 2nd fight :-(
