Can see the logic I suppose, it was only an 8 rounder and gives the finalists more time. We've seen before how **** they can be when the fighters are knackered.

Gives the finalists more time to rest so we get a better final. There has been some prizefighters finals ruined because one or both fighters were ****ed

Just an aside- but anyone else think Lockett is quietly becoming one of britains best cornermen. I am always really, really impressed by him.

    I was just thinking that.

He pops up quite often, building up a large stable.

    Round 1

Evans is stepping left and tilting away from Foot's jab. Evans fades outside to dodge a Foot overhand right. Evans scores a jab to the hairline as Foot comes forward thrusting a straight combo. Evans is dancing, shifting weight from back foot to front, jabbing. Foot moves in and they clinch. Jab and slicing right by Foot, falling short. Evans puts his gloves out to parry. Clinch when Foot bulls in again. Evans works the body ducking in and darts out. Foot walks onto a couple of jabs looking to drop a 1-2 to the body. Hooks by Evans, hung up on Foot's arms as he falls into him. Foot feigns with his jab and then chops a right. Evans steps around and rolls under a lead right hand, throwing one to the body. Clinch. They yank and twist at each other's arms.

10-9 Evans, very little in it

I don't think so. Last I recall the McCloskey fight was after Prizefighter finished. Besides that, I don't know when it's been done like that.

    Round 2

Evans is falling into a complacent wait and coast mode on the outside. A few jabs by Evans. Foot is pressing in and jabbing more sternly. Big hook by Evans! Foot dips side to side to let the jab whiz by. 1-2 by Foot. Evans is flicking out the jab again, hushing down once more. Overhand right by Foot. Counter hook by Evans but he's moving off instead of following up. Foot snakes out a right hand grazing the head, then hooks the body.

    10-9 Foot

    19-19

    Round 3

Evans is jabbing and going at it. Foot has now become the more economical, saving up for big counter right hands that snap Evans' head back. Evans hooks the body and gets close, but Foot pins his arms down. Evans ducks a 1-2 and hooks the outermost part of Foot's ribs again. Foot turns askew and sticks the jab out into Evans' face while backing up. BIG BODY SHOT BY EVANS. LEFT HOOK HURT FOOT BADLY!! He almost fell! Evans rushed in and gave him something to hold onto!! Only fifteen seconds. Evans thrashes away with hooks. Foot holds again.

    10-9 Evans

    29-28 Evans
