Cant get one until the links with Kinahan die down. The broadcasters want to stay clear of anything MTK/Kinahan related. I think this was the idea of creating their own version of UFC fightpass/DAZN as that way they do not need the broadcaster. I heard they were also talking to Crawford last week in Dubain as being the face of their US boxing content. However surely at some point someone has to ask where the money comes from.

The more names that work with them the greener the company will look and eventually they may acquire a deal. Their biggest option in the UK is hoping DAZN dont buy BT and they take on Warrens deal once it expires.

These number basically mirrored what you said the other day didn't they? Any idea what Saturday night did? I imagine this might be even less.

For some reason I had it in my head it was a Boxer show so on Sky.

They are promoting a show in Ghana on Christmas Eve- which is all a bit random.

It did less as the Chisora vs Parker numbers looked reasonable by all accounts.

This is the reason they want their own platform so they can hide the numbers. But without any legitimate TV deal in place all fighters like Sunny Edwards are getting are paydays. There is next to no exposure taking place.

I was flicking back and forth between DAZN & Freesports on Saturday. The Probellum show visually looked very low rent.

That must be satisfactory for DAZN, right?

It was a surprisingly good main fight, but the event itself was not very good.

I would imagine so. DAZN are happy with any base they get from the UK currently. They are very smart people and know they will not get the numbers they want until they take on larger sports rights and build their brand. They see it as something that will not be reflected on for atleast 5 years

I know the business model around DAZN well and it will probably be a success .... in a few years.
