Proof that Margarito cheated against Cotto!!

If you watched the fight you would notice that Margie's punches which weren't
unusually hard according to Cotto.....had a thudding sound everytime and anywhere he hit Cotto.

Cotto's punches which were most likely harder than Margie's didn't carry that thudding sound.

If they were the same gloves then there is a question to be answered.


As much as you and Freddy-Wak ardently defend him.....Margie knows
he cheated and he doesn't care..because he is a lowlife *******!!!!!

You're starting to become annoying, dude. Who gives a **** about the 'technicality?" It's the point that is made by his actions.

Strictly speaking, he DID cheat by presenting his wrapped hands to the commission in that state. If he had only attempted to cheat, there would have been no penalty. But none of the technical stuff matters here, as the point being made is pretty clear. He has a proven tendancy to ignore the rules.

First off, the sarcasm was very lame and didn't work. This is from a neutral. I'm a fan of neither one, or, if you like, I kinda liked both. Cotto a little more perhaps, before the fight. I was very much looking forward to it and couldn't really pick a winner, pre-fight.

After the fight, my respect for Marg and his power went up.

Then, after the Mosley fight (where I picked Mosley for the upset), I had to rethink my take on Marg.

I have not made any such claims. In fact, if you look at my posts, I've gone to some length to point out that we don't know if he cheated against Cotto.

It's just a balance of probabilities argument, based on past actions.

This is NOT a good topic to introduce in a thread that is meant to support Marg. The fight is tainted, rightfully or wrongfully, by suspicion.

A rematch might be what's needed here to clear the air.

 

Anyone who didn't think Margarito cheated in the Cotto match is delusional nut hugger who has an oxygen starved brain. I say that and I was a big Margarito fan.

I dont think Margarito cheated against Cotto.........not unless he put plaster in his chin because Cotto hit him with everything he had and the man kept coming after him!

I think for Mosley they screwed up! I have heard that they weighed Tony before the weigh in on a bad scale and sent him running to get the weight off.....then he weighs in light. By fight time his corner was in a panic and tried something shady to give him an edge!

 

there is no proof that he cheated against cotto but there will be "doubt" in some peoples mind after the scandal.
