Oh dear, these mother****in' Floyd fans **** me right off boring me by talking up Carlos...****in'...Baldomir. Have a good one, BigReg. I tried.
It's pretty clear. There have been paper champions throughout the last 10 years who are better than Baldomir. I consider Floyd a paper champion at 147. The belts don't determine who the best is, the people do, and anyone who thought Baldomir was the best at 147 need to take up golf...and you need to stop boring the **** out of me by talking up Baldomir. It's embarrassing.
Props to shane mosley for wanting this fight so bad. If he kept quiet and to the side he'd probably be fighting a chump. Props to floyd for finally fighting a guy who stands a chance of beating him.(castillo DID beat him)
What's embarrasing is your lack of understanding of the sport. You're coming up here making up your own definitions of well established boxing terms and then getting on me for not agreeing with your made up definitions. I don't need to talk up Baldo, he was a solid fighter. People who know the sport will tell you that. What he wasn't was a paper champ. Now according your own personal made up definition he is one, but I'm not about to go by your own made up **** and ignore well established definitions. You don't know what you're talking about, that's painfully obvious.
Besides that, at least we can agree that Baldomir was one of the lesser undisputed champions in Boxing history, and not a fighter with the kind of quality to improve Floyd Mayweather's legacy. That was the overall point.:good
You're relentless with this "paper champion" thing aren't you matey? I'll ask you a direct question so I can get a direct answer instead. What did Carlos Baldomir do for the legacy of Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr?
He enabled floyd to get his fight walked out on by tiger woods and winky wright over how boring it was.
You could be forgiven for thinking I was acting a little inpatient with BigReg here, but the amount of times I've had the likes of Eze, Scar, and BigReg go on and on about how Baldomir was linear this, undisputed that, it's obviously took it's toll. Technically speaking, they aren't wrong, but common sense indicates that Baldomir is one of the lesser undisputed champions in history, and one that does absolutely nothing for the legacy of Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Leon Spinks was the champion too! He beat Ali!! ATG heavyweight. Come on. These floyd fans don't use logic or reason. They fact twist.
You said yourself Floyd fans are delusional if we think Mayweather would ever fight Mosley. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5730795&postcount=44
