You are saying the last punch was on the belt?? Wow. Ok. We are seeing it much different then. It looks to me to land square on the capital "B" on Kov's shorts. Which was well below the belt line. Him being bent over would only move that "B" even lower, not higher.

I agree it most likely won't be changed to an NC. It should be though.

    this.
im reading posts and seeing exactly what i would expect to see from the bots who are as predictable as a sunrise.
here are a few facts for both sides, as i saw them.
kov was ahead on points at time of controversial stoppage
kov was hurt by ward prior to stoppage
ward had punched low more than 3 times without warning from ref
kov also used illegal tactics throughout the fight
kov was not out on his feet, he had successfully ducked 2 fast hooks just before the 3 shot combo to the twins
after all the krusher talk, kov fought like a bully, seemed to wilt in the face of adversity
    ward is a dirtyass fighter
kov did not respond like a krusher

    :rofl

Kovalev reduced to a little crying girl that fakes low blows in order not to be beaten harder. Great achievement from ward.

He doesnt look very scary here neither

    LEV.

He's nothing but half a man once he get hitten.

Pretty easy to look manly when the one hitting is you. Not so easy when you are the one being hitten, isnt it, sergey? go fys.

True. I'm sure Kathy 'the witch' Duva wants to protest but Kova doesn't want another fight against Ward. He's had it.

SOB used a sort of uppercut on Kovalev's testicles, it was clearly intentional. I have a very expensive cup, it will help protect you, but if the punch comes up, it will push the cup up and his hurts like hell. No, SOB should not be allowed to cheat. He beat Kessler with an illegal intentional headbutt that came from across the ring, SOB's personal referee called it a TKO win for SOB, should have been disqualified............

Watch the Nevada commission lie about Rigo's punch after the bell and don't forget holding his opponent's head and hitting him at the same time. Well, the video proved them to be liars. The commission refused to even look a the replay of SOB's low blows..................

How can any Kovalev fan support Duva. She's one of the worst promoters out there. Kov should sign with someone else. She's trash.

File protest, Make Excuses, Complain 100 times, Do whatever.
It's not gonna change the fact that Kovalev got crashed and lost 2 times.
The more complain and excuses are made, the Happier Ward and his fans becomes. Sour grapes are sweet to us.:aaaaa::asskisser

Not sure how anyone can watch that video and still claim Kovalev got low-blowed let alone hit in the testicles.

kovalev wanted out of that fight once he got tired. He's like Hopkins in the Smith fight. He wanted out and wants people to accept his excuse

The pic of the final low blow is not a pic of the actual moment of impact. The vid floating around here shows the final punch to land squarely on the capital B. Well below the belt line. That's the only punch I have issue with.

The final blow wasn't even the final nail on the coffin, and quite honestly, had Kovalev not been illegally using the ropes and illegally bending below the waist, ward would be able to see his target.

Why are you guys having a hard time accepting Kovalev was defeated. Even if you think it was a foul, when have you seen a fight of this magnitude stopped on one or two border line fouls.

Some of you fans are big complainers.. You want to see what low blows in a world championship fight looks like?? Watch Tito-Vargas.

Also why don't you say anything about Kovalev's punches on or below the belt line, or his rabbit punches?

    It doesn't suit your agenda.

While there were legit low blows, looking at the ref instead of giving them right back tells you everything. I can forgive something like that in a novice pro, but for someone who's been around as long as Kovalev has, that response was poor. It was Hopkins-esque.

My only issue is the fight was waived off after the last, and most obvious low blow. The others I agree were Borderline.

The point of initial impact of the final punch was on the capital B. Well below the belt line.

The fight had turned rough and tumble. That's part of the sport. But a fight should not be stopped on that sort of low blow. Call it a low blow and give him 5 min OR rule it a KD cause the roles were holding him up and give him a count.
