Taylor never resorted to the dirty **** that went on the other night. Please do not compare Taylor to that ****. Nobody should be ashamed of Taylor.
It was a bad night for all of boxing and the PR crowd should of recognized that and boo'd their hometown fighter for representing like that. The only PR's that should be ashamed are the ones that try to justify that ****!
****, we better win this year. We have the deepest team and I hope Romo holds up in the playoffs. :good
ive never been to a fight in mexico but ive been to fights where the crowd was predominantly mexican (thats anywhere in the southwestern US) and they really support their fighters but they sure dont seem to like to nuthug. they like their fighters to win in a manly way or take their loss in a manly way. i remember the crowd at the chavez - whitaker fight getting pretty upset because they felt pea won fair and square. i dont know about it being a puerto rican thing but i do remember thinking joe cortez was way bias towards mexicans way before his little circus a few weeks back. it does seem like rican boxers use low blows as a tool in the ring just like chavez would hit the hips to take away the legs of a fighter.
