Even if Pulev was presumably KD, with his the first punch after the countdown he KD Abell. Don`t make this man angry ...

From this angle it seems much more like a slip than a KD. From the other one it looked like legit KD... oh well... doesn't matter much. I kind of expected better performance by Pulev, but at least he showed he can be aggressive when he wants to...

 

Yeah, there absolutely no reason for Fury to fight a short $$$ eliminator when he can fight for a vacant title like the WBA or the WBC, or just wait out Wlad for all he cares. He's only 25 yo, and has already built himself into his own "brand".

The HWC is gonna be splintered in a few short yrs, and Pulev will have to fight Fury if he wants a piece of the title pie, b/c Fury will undoubtedly be carrying a strap of one form or another when Wlad retires. :think

 

Anyway, epic "gru stance" by Pulev, to show the referee he wasn't hurt at all. Totally comic, he also alternated foot, such equilibrium, much creativity.

Furay almost got knocked out by a feather-fisted CW. He might get a title one day but I wouldn't bet my house on it!
