The tragic tale of the WBA Regular belt continues - this has got to one of the most farcical sagas in boxing history.
I'm half tempted to jot down the whole history but can't be bothered. It's insane. Hopefully Charr will pretty much sell the belt and the mandatory that comes with it eventually to someone up and coming prepared to pay to fight for it . Anderson or someone in the rankings mix. Huni even. Or someone outside like Jalolov who wants a safe fight May 18th pre Paris.
Already an update for this: They're subbing in a guy for Charr whose name I won't attempt to pronounce: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...o-injured-his-biceps-in-training-camp.718551/ They're also talking about rescheduling Charr and Pulev for the fall, assuming Charr's fully healed by then and Pulev gets past his substitute on May 30. I know we'll all be waiting with bated breath....
