Ever thought that you might not always be right in the ever-advancing, sometimes subjective field of sports science?

    Its Not a technique excercise.
your Not working on punching of the backleg and rotating body into punch.

Your Shoulders/arms feel the pain/burn after doing it. And the arms/shoulders are involved in punching just a smaller percentage than the legs/core.

its a Mental/Physical endurance thing... its "DIFFICULT" to do just 1 round of 3 mins with 5lbs weights. Let alone 6 x 3 mins.

I have no problem with being proved wrong.

If you think I'm wrong, say so, but at least give a valid argument.

Yes you have. I remember when I showed you tests that proved regular sets of fifty body weight squats yielded greater strength gains than regular 95% effort, heavy squats. You weren't having any of it.

It's from a few years back, you were banging on about the same outdated **** back then as well. I'll repeat what I (and those studies) said, more fat is burned doing high repetition exercises therefore more of it is able to turn directly into muscle, as long as you're eating a calorie surplus.

Really? So where is it? And what outdated **** exactly?

EDIT: I just read that fully. Are you actually trying to say fat turns into muscle?

Not sure where the test results are now, and yes, I am, it is a well known fact that you bulk first and cut later unless you're doing what we call a 'clean bulk' which requires a more specified diet, as you only want maintenance calories so the burned fat turns directly into muscle rather than storing itself.

    I don't call myself anything.

Explain how fat transforms itself in muscle. It seems you've misread something somewhere.

Have you not heard of thermic translution? It's a new term. Once upon a time, people thought fat turned into muscle. With further investigation we found out it didn't. With further investigation still, we found out the clueless folk of old were actually bang on, even if they didn't know how the process worked. It's to do with enzymes and acids, very complicated yet relevant if you want to fully understand how muscle building works.

Clearly. It's so much of a new term that it doesn't show on google once...

Any links providing evidence of this? I can't find a thing on "thermic translution".

So the TS uses the fact that several progressional fighters use this drill to support his argument and you call him wrong for it. Yet you post a quote from DeFranco to support your side and you're cool with that? More bs hypocrisy.
And don't get me wrong. I'm not supporting the TS ideal. I'm calling you out on the bs and ABSOLUTE idea of yours that this drill is stupid and dumb.
Just like the rumor I've read a few days ago that sit ups are useless. Because Ariza said?

I googled and saw a "THERMAL INSULATED TRAVEL MUG in Translucent Red" ...

I might get one, nice to get some caffeine into me before I do my 15 rounds of handweights
