    what banter though ?

I never see the guy actually talking about boxing.

If you know more than new people about strenght training and conditioning or whatever would you go on a forum about a sport that you have no interest in (apparently ?),...over to their training section and countlessly tell people who are new to training or conditioning , why they are wrong and quote them line for line on a regular basis ? What's the point of this ?

That's why I was asking earlier if he watches the sport ?

I know that there is "lounge lizards" who post over there exclusivley, but that is kinda understanding as the topics can vary widley.

How many times can you say that "shadow boxing with weight is bad",
"fat cant be turned to muscle" before you go bat**** crazy ?

Now please don't get me wrong I like to chat with virus, especially about new training ideas and stuff and his opinion is a good one for sure, I just dont understand why he goes through with the above and I genuniley want to know if he watches the sport or no ?

Part of my warmup is a light shadowbox with 2 pound aerobic weights, then another round with 1 lb weighted gloves, and the last round with nothing. Speed feels amazing after two rounds with weights!

That wasn't his argument.....virus said punching with weights changes the mechanics of how you punch, valid point....OP's counter point was Mayweather, tszyu, jeff fenech shadow boxed with weights & they still throw correct punches also a valid point....dunno where you get shitty argument from?!?

    impossible

to throw fast power punches your shoulders and arms have to be loose, holding weights when punching doesn't allow you to do that kind of practice

It's good though for endurance in the Deltoids, and upper back muscles, pretty much like in skipping
