one needs to get over the fact that Cal won it, but only just. I think you should be proud that Hopkins almost took a HOFer when in his forties. An amazing acheivement.

But Cal didnt dominate, he looked very bad against a 40something, which must be frightfully embarrassing. Jeez, I mean Klitman usually knock out 40somethings, and hes not exacltl an ATG.

Joe is usually quite good at picking opponents when they are past it or bummy, but this time Cal essentially made a mistake of misjudging Hopkins age decline and fought him a shade too early, should have waited till Bhop was 44 or 45 to get a clear decision.

It's funny that you post this video because for the all the people who thought Joe won, they try and dispute this particular video that was done objectively.

 

He was just saying that Hopkins was a little better when Joe fought him, compared to now, even though he's the lightheavyweight champion.

when what really happened was calzaghe stepped up to face the recognised number 1 guy at 175...& 4 years later he is still recognised as the number 1 guy at 175.

Compubox is prone to being inaccurate at times because it controlled by humans, who often have a poor eye for a landed punch vs. a shot that was slipped, blocked, parried etc.... That's why you have to respect a guy like Mayweather. Mayweather lands crisp, precision shots, there's no doubt about it. Calslappy would throw pitty pat, whirlwind flurries, and the judges who didn't have a clue what they were looking at counted them as landed shots.
