2nd thing and far more serious Guillermo jones who has always had a good chin took a frightening amount of head shots clean last night.i really really hope his almost superhuman resilience was not the result of a 39 year old taking peds

 

To be honest with Don King involved and the fact that fight was not stopped by anyone, I have serious concerns there.

Has Jones been on Peds before? Lebedev took serious punishment tonight, if Jones is on PEDs some people should be doing Jail Time.

To be fair I'm just throwing it around but it just didn't seem right in there it seemed sinister


Lebedev a big puncher was throwing combos with full body weight constantly for 3 minutes per round,jones was competitive but won because lebedev was exhausted from punching jones full power in the face


Jones never took a backward step or was hurt once,lebedev resorted to pushing jones off in similar fashion to khan Peterson.i hope I'm wrong if I am then jones has one of the best chins I've ever seen

 

Didn't Jones fail a drugs test after the Nelson fight?

 

If Lebedev has permanent damage or has to retire, and Jones is proven to be on PEDs this will end up in the courts and rightly so.

There is also the case of an involvement of Don King, and the referees, commissions and Lebedevs corners refusal to stop the fight.

Its all hearsay at this point but its conceivable there was some sort of corruption and/or PEDs at play here possibly permanently injuring a boxer, and if this is the case, the Russians will be wanting blood.

Yes he failed test after nelson fight

I hate being sceptical but the bloke has been so inactive yet was freakishly strong

 

In a very disturbing piece of news, ***********.com has been informed that WBA cruiserweight champion Guillermo Jones (39-3-2, 31KOs) refused to take a post-fight drug test following his eleventh round TKO of Denis Lebedev at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. No reasons were provided for the refusal by Team Jones. The event promoters, Don King and Vladimir Hryunov, are already discussing the situations with legal reps. King is helping Hryunov, who promotes Lebedev, get to the bottom of the situation. Following the loss, Lebedev went directly to the hospital with horrible facial swelling and cuts.

Ah right, sorry mate, I didn't know about all the actual stuff that was going on. Just read about all the information on Jones and what happened prior to the bout. Just hearing he's refused the test after the fight now.

I don't think there would be any corruption in terms of trying to elongate the bout. What would possibly be the gain in trying to do hurt Lebedev more?

 

Yeh to be honest Lazarus I got the same feeling Ginger got about this fight, something seems strange and I didnt even hear about him refusing the drug test before I made my post.

I hope this is all cleared up and Lebedev is give the okay.
