In 2006 he was beyond shot. He could barely move. And Wlad won his major belt and started his title reign in that fight:rofl

Gerry Cooney fought all of six minutes in the ring in a period of over two years before his fight with a PRIME Larry Holmes and took him to the 13th rnd.

I think a PRIME Wlad would be far better trained, mentally prepared and battle experienced for the task of beating Holmes.

You don't need to be a knockout artist to shatter glass.

Byrd lost to way past it Golota two years earlier and got a gifted with a draw. Golota who looked like a Mummy even dropped him twice.

    FFs you're amateur.

Wlad hasn't fought a decent heavyweight in a decade...

PRIME Wlad is a guy who had already been beaten senseless three times. Against Holmes, Wlad doesn't see the last round...

OMG, just like the Lewis HATERZ, the Wlad HATERZ in full effect.

There's NOTHING that Holmes does that Wlad doesnt do better.

Say he can't take a punch and I'll show 100 gifs of him taking flush shots from Mercer, Rahman, Peter, Brewster, Potvetkin, Haye, etc etc etc.....multi shot combos....he's also been KDd a bunch and gotten up each time.

How about admitting that Wlad Klitschko seriously underrated Sanders and got caught up, much like Lewis vs McCall and Rahman, and he gassed vs Puritty and the events surrounding the Brewster 1 fight were nothing less than scandalous.

Wlad beating Holmes by KO 5/10 times, by decision 4/10 times and loss because he gassed, 1/10.

    F/N haters....ruining a perfectly good H2h ATG HW tournament.:rofl

I was wondering that myself. I'm thinking 24 hour box-off poll.

Unbelievable how close they are. It is more exciting than even I hoped.

So you are saying Wlad does everything better than Holmes:lol::lol::nut
Wlad never underestimates anybody. Ever. If you knew anything about him you would know that.
Sanders blitzed him because he was a better fighter. Wlad ran from the rematch.

What good does it do if you get up from a knock down but can't finish the fight?

If you mean getting knocked out while in your prime then I would agree...

Halfway through the 12th and Holmes finally breaks through Wlad's clinch, landing a massive uppercut that sends Wlad into the ropes. The ref rules it a knockdown! Wlad protests, knowing that every vote counts, but his wobbly legs betray his bravado and Holmes knows it. He also knows that this fight is too close to call and if he wants to win, he has to stop Wlad right now. Legs heavy, arms weary, are there enough votes to give him the strength to end it...?
