just to let you all know the FB page is a false account opened by three fighters I know, however they are out of order now telling people to turn up at my gym for training ect when of co**** they shouldn't.
I can take pelters but stop wasting other peoples time and money getting to my gym

that really is disgraceful, different if someone is trying to annoy you as we all know you can give as good as you get but bringing innocent people into their beef with you is very childish and immature :good:good

john it was david who made the decision to take the fight, he was getting way more than hes ever earned and hes a young man with commitments, houseowner, car ect.
the money made has made a big chunk into his mortgage so at least there will be one positive come out the fight.
david is bitterly disappointed has I am but WE will regroup learn from the experience and move forward.
No blame can get attached to his management whatsoever he could have said no to the fight

There's a bit of honesty. Boxing is also a job to 90% of the boxers. Glad he got paid well and came out unscathed..

Do most in here just log on to give Billy Nelson a hard time?
Brophy was out his depth, but so are AT LEAST 50% of "opponents on cards.
Cornish should never have been anywhere Joshua if it was about making competitive fights, look at the majority of Callum Smiths opposition, any of the top fighters.
Brophy was unbeaten, gonna get well paid, and so took the fight to both earn well, and see where he is in terms of development against the best.
He fell short. Saying he coulda got hurt and finger pointing is a nonsense. ANY fighter could get hurt, but 1. Are in the game to provide for families, and if he's getting paid 20times as much, hardly gonna turn it down. 2. In it for the glory, and how do you reach the top without taking a shot?
He wasn't a 5 fight novice taking on Groves!

I understand that boxing is the way Brophy makes his living & so he took the fight.
Was the Luke Blackledge fight (surely more winnable) offered, I'm not savvy on the finance but I'd guess that fighting for & possibly winning the CW belt would open up a few doors- especially considering the fact that Cal Smith will vacate the British soon, Jamie cox in jail... Literally now brophy has pushed himself out of the picture with this loss. Shame

i can't see how losing to GG has pushed David out the picture, he's still well in the mix for domestic titles, personally I think take GG, James, Callam out the equation then there are plenty of good matches to make

I don't think the "loss to gg" has taken him out the picture solely, I'd say as a spectator, that the fight showed he isn't ready to be fighting for titles anytime soon... He just hasn't fought with the right caliber of fighter. His only respectable fight prior to Saturday is against Webb, surely whether u like this fact, u must agree with it.
