I hope it is on SKY cos I can't watch any fights otherwise. Nothing like sitting in my local pub with a pint of Guinness and boxing on the screen.

Thanks for clearing that up. Not really familiar with Froch anyways. But I should maybe state now that I have only been following boxing recently. Like it says under my user name "newbie"

Thanks - always a bit worried about posting just in case I say something stupid or whatever. No doubt see you again... :p

Well lets take it easy an breath before sending Kessler to another promotor. Nobody but Mogens Palle could have gotten Kessler the deal he got against Calzaghe - by all means making the fight happen and getting so well paid was a promoting masterpiece - so I can understand if Kessler wants to stay with Palle for now.

As for the furture - yes by the looks of it Mogens isn't going to last long - not in a stressfull job as promotor anyway. By the lastest talks I've heard Kessler is aming for the US-marked. Trying to take a fight or two in the US. But at the end of the day it much depends on Calzaghe - will he vacate his belts? (I don't think he'll drop the WBO-belt just yet). If Calzaghe doesn't then Kessler is in a bad position - he is a risk/reward nightmare without any belts - on the other hand if Calzaghe drops his belts, then Kessler is in the mix for all four major belts - being well ranked with all.

Kessler has got all the stuff superstars are made of - and in due time I'd like to see him fight for GBP. But he has to be bought - no way Palle is letting him go - several boxers tried that with lay offs of 2-3 years as a result.
