if you can't see the difference between JMM and PBF's styles, you are a certified JOYBOY idiot.

I think PAC-PBF would be a great entertaining fight thanx to PAC MAN. Floyd needs to be at his best bcuz PAC is very fast, aggressive and can hit. I still think FMJ is just too well rounded and a present day great and would win a good 1.

I'm starting to think comparing Mayweather and JMM is ill-advised. When people talk about the 2, all they focus on is their counter-punching and erroneously think they're completely the same because of that. If you people just take a small bit of effort to look into their styles more instead of just glancing over it, you'll see there are large differences between many aspects of their styles.

First of all, Floyd doesn't have the activity that JMM has. A little bit of observation would allow anybody to see that. JMM is a rare-type of counter-puncher in that he has a good-very good workrate to go along with it. That's largely due to his change of styles from being a strict counter-puncher/defensive fighter(like Floyd) to being a more offensive oriented counter-puncher. That's the MAIN reason why he troubled Pac so greatly, he isn't content anymore of just waiting for his opponent to attack for as long as it takes, he actually takes the fight to his opponent if he sees an opening or if the opponent isn't doing anything.

He LEADS that is. Something that Mayweather hasn't done consistently for a long time now, while JMM's pretty successful and really troubled Pac with it. JMM's punch variety and combinations also helped him much against Pac and is a big add-on to his workrate. We all know how he would throw every punch in the book with speed, power and throw all of it in many different angles. All of that with consistency, mind you. Well Floyd doesn't have that anymore in his arsenal since he left 135. He has become a very defensive fighter and rarely does combos anymore and doesn't have as much variety in his punches.

What I'm getting at is history has shown that to really trouble Pac you need be very good at counter-punching BUT at the same time maintain a good workrate to take the fight to him from time and time. Put a hurting on him and MAKE HIM TENTATIVE. Marquez(and Morales) had those things that's why he did so well against Pac. Floyd, while an elite counter-puncher, only has minimal workrate which really wouldn't do anything to discourage Pac or make him tentative.

That's the difference between JMM and PBF. And they are BIG. Note that I still favor Floyd over Pac, but to say that PBF schools Pac is pushing it a bit IMO. I see Pac giving Floyd alot of trouble.

Styles make fights, I never used the logiC PBF wins SD vs DLH; Pac wins 8thTKO VS DLH;, So Pac wins TKO/KO/UD/SD vs PBF...But then who knows, Pac might surprise us again

and haters will say..Oh! But the PBF that PAC beat is NOT the same PBF that beat Hatton and ODLH! I never realized that PBF is that shot or probably PBF is a little bit rusty....

THE EXCUSES for TAKING any credit for PAC NEVER ENDS!
