Read that sentence over carefully... ok... one more time... see how it doesn't make sense? I know what you're trying to say, but I'll tell ya, that sentence doesn't do it. No offense if English isn't your first language, but if it is, it's time to get back to school. To the point of the thread... it's no secret that the question is whether AM of MC could catch up to him and wear him down. If they catch up to him, yeah, I think they could, but I don't think it hinges as much on his conditioning as it does on his defensive ability to avoid the onrushing MC and his slickness to get inside the lankier AM. The conditioning is potentially a bigger "2nd factor" with MC, though; AM doesn't seem to gas and there we'll call it a wash. Good luck with that sentence construction!
dude mis me with your Jr college condescending attitude .. I know my audience, and most of the poster on this board are already familiar with the subject Im talking about , so schooling them on detail they're already familiar with is not in order .. OK ass whole So take your newly learned language skill and practice them some place else or better yet stick up your ass. I hope the fit your language, grammar prerequisite ******* ..
Thats how many fight fans envisage it Pit.Its a nightmare of an evening for Floyd. Why not tell him and us where he is wrong here.
Keep trying Shakespeare. :hi: No matter how many ways you spell "*******", it won't change the fact that you "defined your audience" that you know so well with a sentence that directly contradicted itself. I'm not suggesting that you school anybody on anything. Just make sense.
Moving on NEXT !!! I love it when someone poster take language class then try and put in to practice what they learned on the form , but forget that this form is a informal and not formal atsch
Oh really so floyd is a bully that only fights, fighters that are beneath him atsch so lets play a game here who is Gomez , who is Maurice Brantley or who is Golden Johnson and those are just a few I won't go over the rest they're not even worth mentioning . The second part of this million dollar question is Who is Paul William and what is he to Margarito .. Cotto .. who did he not want to fight at 140 ? Again if your going to make a accusation like that, please tell the whole story and make a informative response.
i love when people say floyd avoided cotto, yet cottos people were the ones that turned down the fight at 140 vs floyd..
The only way I see Mayweather beating Marg is if he is on the move literally the whole time, which is bloody difficult especially against Margs size and style. Marg will soak up all Floyds punches and land the most hurtful shots Floyd has ever received. I think Marg could stop him the way he stopped Cotto. Cotto vs Mayweather would be a very even fight in my opinion. I think it would go the distance possibly just about in Cotto's favour, but its 50-50
No but there are few fighters with his work ethics, and those are the fact Im not trying to make it sound like anything but what it is. The difference between an average fighter and a grate fighter is there comment to perfect they're craft, there attention to detail and there desire to improve on a skill they are already proficient in. Bruce Lee .. Is floyd one of those people? I don't know but I would say he's dame close to it. We will just have to wait and what he does once he returns .
I can see your point on this, but have you considered the fact that even standing still floyd is real good at picking off shots, yes a few will get through but the point of my thread is even if some do get through Floyd is not as fragile as some think, and I also think many fans hear are over hyping Margaritos punching power, If you look at margarito KO what he has done is out lasted and out gutted opponents in a high out put fight. Margarito is the type of fighter who could run 6 miles and still spar 8 or nine good rounds, that what he does and that what he's good at . so the question is , is floyd condition and skill good enough to get him through the fight or will have to some time during the fight tap into that reserve . Again floyd is not a fragile as some make him out to be , but Im not saying that his tuffness is on the same level as Margarito ether.
Absolutely, they have to be. Bottom line is there just aren't that many "hardcore" fans any more. If you want over 1 mil. buys, you have to have a popular HW champ or a major cross-over star at a lower weight. I don't think there's been a 1 mill HW fight since Lewis Tyson (and Lewis/Holy would have been the one before that)... and when was that last non-Hoya lower weight one? It'll be interesting to see how they'll do moving forward - wonder what the over/under will be and if they'll top May/Hatton I, whichever fight goes through (provided, of course, May comes back).
We've never seen Floyd in a battle, therefore we dont know how he would be able to cope. Margarito could easily throw bombs for 15 rounds. Floyd cant hurt him so it comes down to whether or not Floyd can avoid getting hit and pick punches to scrape rounds (and he would have to start fast). IMO He can avoid getting hit for about 2/3 rounds and then Marg starts getting through. A late stoppage is my prediction, but Floyd can win if he prevents Marg from getting into his rhythm
do you think that there is a reason we've never seen floyd in a battle. He is far supperior to any fighter hes ever been in the ring with. lets be honest, cotto is a hell of a fighter but hes been hurt many times before. Hell even malinagi landed a good right that knocked him across the ring. So yea Margie wore cotto down, but what happened when he fought a fighter with good stamina and could keep pace (williams)? Floyd will not tire in a fight and Margo is not gonna land the punches he landed on Cotto..
