Witter and Hatton were set to fight, but Witter ruined it by being ****.

On top of this, Hatton's lawyer offered Witter £100,000 for a fight (career high payday) and Witter turned it down.

So the ducking thing is a load of **** really.....

End of the day though does it not blow apart the criticism that Hatton 'ducked' Witter?

    In your opinion?

Because promoters/TV make fights, not fighters. And TV/promoters never wanted it.

Now you know how I feel everytime you lot get going about Hatton. You expect concessions from our side but make none yourselves. Infact, its a pointless debate. Don't know why I even got back into it.

Is that the same story that was made up by a boxrec poster and never appeared in the mainstream media? :D

Well, why did Hatton let Warren put it in a contract if he was fearful of facing Junior?

Yup because the Hatton fanboys are delluded. I've been perfectly reasonable about Hatton, giving him credit for his win Saturday etc but still they persist with this idea that Hatton is bigger than the Witter fight. Personally I'm bored of it & won't be getting involved in it any ****ing more. I see none of you fanboys have contributed to the Mijares Munoz thread. Take it none of you bothered with that little, meaningless fight then?

Mmmm.....why did he not take the fight? Works both ways, Junior wasn't anymore "exciting" when Hatton signed the contract. Anyway, read the above I'm out. Enjoy your dick licking session, I won't interupt any further.

Doesn't mean It's not true If It's not In the mainstream.

Witter denied turning that down too. He even offered to fight Ricky for free.

Hennessey did speak to his lawyer too.
