Something along those line's Gaz. Im more patient this year, being a miserable **** was last years faze.
BoxNation in September 2012: (1) BoxAcademy (2) Randall Bailey vs Devon Alexander (3) Billy Joe Saunders vs Jarrod Fletcher (4) Yoan Pablo Hernandez vs Troy Ross (5) Saul Alvarez vs Josesito Lopez (6) Ricky Burns vs Kevin Mitchell (7) Alexander Povetkin vs Hasim Rahman Sky Sports in September 2012: (1) Tony Bellew vs Edison Miranda (2) Carl Frampton vs Steve Molitor As one-sided as a gang ****?
That is how it should be BoxNation is a boxing channel, sky is a sports channel clearly BoxNation should have way more coverage.
I thought one of the ideas of the channel was that theyd be able to use the channel to put shows on consistently? Taking the tenner and just going 'not boxing season' is a bit poor but if the subscribers are ok with it then Im sure boxnation are delighted and everybodies happy so ah well.
The boxing world is just quite right now, always is this time of year. Nothing on sky or anywhere else either. We could have had the Breidis Prescott fight but would it have really mattered. Next month it all picks up again. I hope they pick up the Alvarez fight and the Sexy Sergio fight.
I'm pretty sure that Sky could easily have more boxing than they do. For one thing, they have just stopped working with a couple of promoters. They may be a general sports channel but still...
Stop moaning you little pip squeak. Boxing needs Boxnation. Get behind Bunce and the boys. It's well worth a tenner a month you cheap gutter rat. Boxnation has just brought Haye vs Chisora the biggest fight that could be made in boxing and they didn't even charge us extra. If that was an American promotion that would have cost $70 on it's on. Some people don't know a good thing when they have it.:-(
IF Boxnation goes it goes and boxing will survive as always. I will be interested to see what ESPN do from next year when they lose there football rights. You might end up seeing ESPN trying to get a promotor on board and do a Friday Nights UK Fights along with the American 1s package it as a night of boxing. Get the Hatton Promotions and Maloney on board. They need to do something to keep the subs once the football is gone.
