Questions about the different "types" of boxing champions

    I like the Super Champion policy. It cuts down on the number of fighters getting stripped and promotes unification.

    That's because he's not a real champ.

    I agree, it's not ideal but it's a reasonable solution. I would prefer box offs though.

    So let's say that Pavlik and Abraham fight and the winner gets the WBC/IBF/WBO and not to mention The Ring Championship at MW while Sturm still holds the WBA title, the winner of Pavlik vs. Abraham is not an undisputed champion at middleweight?

    Forget WBO, I don't recognise it. The Ring championship is not an official title, just an honourary award. No he would not be undisputed champion he would hold two thirds of the title. He would, however, be universally recognised as "the man" as Sturm isn't seen as much of a threat.
