Should have a chance to do an interview with the winner of the Contender in the next few days, any forumites have any questions they'd like me to put forward to him? I'll be asking him of course about the Contender and the proposed Mundine fight but just throwing it out there to anyone here if they'd like to ask him anything.
I believe he was greatly influenced by Jeff Fenech. But what kind of boxing background did he have prior to taking it up full-time following his rugby career.
Ask him what he thinks of the boxing purists who consider the way he boxes as dirty roughhouse boxing as opposed a different "style" of boxing.
Ask him why he hasn't fought in 5 months and what is the motivation for fighting Hadlow who has only won 1 of his last 9 fights.
I will give you a few questions you can ask without getting smacked in the nuts..... 1. Who was the harder opponent Kariz or Victor? 2. How is your fitness going....how many rounds can you box with a good work rate...and how many rounds do you spar in a row? 3. Would you consider Kariz in a rematch over 10 rounds before the Mundine fight? 4. Is it hard to focus on these lead-up fights when you know you have the big fight with Mundine locked in? 5. Is it true you wear girls nickers in the boxing ring. Cheers Leon
What is your opinion on Anthony Mundines level of opposition? How is it to have Billy H and Johnny Lewis in your corner? What are your goals in boxing beyond the Mundine fight?
Does he find his 'waiting time' for the Mundine bout a major hindrence to a future in the sport?? Does the one Mundine bout play the major component in his future? Has he reneged on prospects due to being available for the ?? when and where bout with Mundine.
Some good stuff so far guys, so far all I've been able to come up with is what is your favourit colour and what is your favourite ice cream flavour. Cut off time 6pmEST Friday.
